This album was originally released on cassette in 1984. Please forgive any limitations in the sound quality; it was produced by dubbing between two cassette decks. This was an era when synthesizers were becoming available to the mass market for the first time, but they were still not cheap, so the instrumentation was pretty rudimentary. But what did we care? It was tremendously exciting to be making electronic music in the style of the artists who had inspired us, such as Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Jean Michel Jarre.

The recordings have been reproduced here exactly as offered on the original cassette, complete with the occasional tape drop-out and some hiss. So, it's a bit lo-fi. The titles were all derived from poems by e.e. cummings, who we were reading a lot of at the time. When originally released, this album was featured on the Inkeys cassette magazine, and we received at least two letters from people who liked it, representing our first ever fan-mail. And it was even featured in our school magazine.

Instrumentation included Jen SX1000, Moog Prodigy, Casio MT30, Roland SH101, Casio vl-tone, Roland TR 606 and was recorded on a Ferrograph reel-to-reels plus tape decks.
